Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 26 September 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of frenchclassestoronto.com and the booking and delivery of French classes by Rue Bloor French School ("we", "us"). By booking a class or using this website, you agree to these terms.

Bookings and enrolment

A booking is confirmed once we have acknowledged it and, where applicable, received payment. Free trial classes are subject to availability and are intended for new students assessing our courses.

Fees and payment

Course fees are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are payable in advance of the term or lesson unless otherwise agreed. Group courses are sold as a term (a set number of weekly classes); private lessons are booked and paid per hour or in agreed packages. Prices may change for future terms.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Private lessons may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice; lessons cancelled with less notice may be charged.
Group course fees are generally non-refundable once a term has started, except where required by law.
We may reschedule or move a class online where necessary and will give you as much notice as possible.

Student conduct

We ask all students to attend on time and to treat teachers and other students with respect. We reserve the right to remove a student from a class for disruptive or inappropriate behaviour.

Online classes

Our classes are delivered live online. You are responsible for having a suitable internet connection and device to join. We are not liable for issues caused by your own equipment or connection.

Intellectual property

All course materials provided remain our property or that of their authors and are for your personal learning use only. They may not be copied, shared or resold without permission.

Limitation of liability

We provide our classes with reasonable care and skill but make no guarantee of specific language outcomes. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees paid for the affected class.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.
