FAQ

French classes in Toronto — your questions

How much do French classes in Toronto cost?

Group French classes start at $290 for a 10-week term. Private lessons start at $60 per hour online and $75 per hour in person. Every new student books a free trial class and level assessment first.

Do you offer TEF Canada and DELF exam preparation?

Yes. We run dedicated TEF Canada, TCF, DELF and DALF preparation courses. TEF Canada prep is especially popular with students building points for Express Entry and Canadian permanent residence.

Do you teach French online or only in person?

Both. We teach in person at our downtown Toronto studio near Yonge & Bloor, and live online over Zoom. You can mix formats within the same course.

I'm a complete beginner — can I still join?

Absolutely. Our A1 beginner French classes assume zero prior knowledge and are designed to get you speaking from the very first lesson.

How long does it take to become conversational in French?

Most students reach a comfortable conversational level (CEFR B1) in 9 to 12 months of weekly classes plus regular practice. Private and intensive tracks are faster.

Do you offer French classes for kids and teens?

Yes. We run small-group French classes for kids and teens on weekends, aligned with the Ontario curriculum and CEFR levels.
